Today I was ministering and the Holy Spirit reveled to me that putting my flesh under subjection is more than just fasting and prayer but it is a true exchange of his spiritual guidance for my logical and emotional will.

What does the putting away of the flesh for God's spiritual guidance have to do with to my eating habits?  How is it I can fast for hours but cannot stop eating past 6 pm?  Have I really put my flesh under subjection? Is my spirit in control or my flesh? Who do I obey?

Lets look as the Fruits of the Spirit. Love, Joy, Peace, Forbearance, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness, and Self -Control. 

Who do I  follow my flesh or His Spirit?  

I must admit, I have been following my flesh because I have not taken control of my eating habits. Today I choose Self - Control.

Father forgive me for allowing my flesh to rule me in regards to my eating habits.  I submit my will to you and I know that your will is that I be prosperous and in good health even as my soul prospers.  Help to to have self - control in all that I do and  to reject hunger pangs of gluttony, In Jesus Name I Pray Amen

Ever wonder why you have not been able to reach your God given potential?  Look at the stages  to become a Butterfly,

•  the Embryo (egg), 
• the Larva (caterpillar) 
• the Pupa ( the area that you are concealed,  you have restricted movement) 
• the Adult (the age of manifestation and reproduction). 

 Many of us have been in the Larva stage for a long time and because of the constraints we are restless, but hold on for your Gift will make Room for you, Proverbs 18:16.
